Bowling- Northern AZ style

I love bowling! I am not good at it but I always have a good time! The whole family (minus a few) went bowing in Pinetop. Olivia and Graham shared a turn. They loved it! We bowled once in Sweden last year but other than that, we have not gone in so long! It was fun!

Swimming

My mom and the kids and I stopped by Grandma and Grandpa Burgoyne's house one day. We chatted with them and went swimming in the pool. It was a little chilly, but warmer than the middle of summer in the Baltic here in Denmark so it was just fine for us.

I wore my grandma's extra swimming suit. I am sure every adult female relative I have on my mom's side has worn it at some point. I was happy to slip that baby on for a turn!

We had a great time! I miss my swimming pool!!

At the Parents'

After the cabin, the kids and I stayed at my parents' house. Matthew flew home a few days before we left the cabin. The kids loved having so much one on one time with Grandma Cowgur. What a good grandma! Olivia spied an Easy Bake Oven in the pantry while I was out and she got Grandma to get it down and cook with her.

Jenny came over a lot! It was great!

Mabel was sweet, quiet and easy going the entire month I was there!

Olivia came with us to get our toe nails painted. She loved it!

I got to visit with my friend, Laura. It was way too short!

We really had such a nice time at my parents' house! My mom was so much fun and we did so many things together. It was just nice to have so much relaxing time together!

Janet

We stayed at Janet's house for the first week or so and it was so nice to be with her. We went to the swap meet in downtown Phoenix, the Zoo, the Childrens' museum, out to eat more times than we should have, and many other things. It was so fun! We miss you, Janet!

USA! USA!

At the end of September we went to Arizona for a month.  Well, the kids and I were there for a month. Matthew had to go back to work so he was with us for 2 weeks. We had such a great trip!! Truly! I got to spend so much time with my family and with Janet and with my friends. I had just a perfect trip!

We spent a week with my family up at a cabin in Pinetop. The cabin was huge- big enough to fit all of us comfortably.

I got to spend a lot of much needed time with my mom. That was really nice.
